An Integrated Student Debt Management Experience

Together, SoFi and T. Rowe Price Help Participants Balance Student Debt With Saving for Retirement

A collaboration between SoFi and T. Rowe Price provides comprehensive support to help employees balance student debt and future education costs while saving for retirement.

We have integrated SoFi student loan cost management education into our larger financial wellness strategy to support plan sponsors, supporting employees' efforts to manage debt within the broader context of maintaining their overall financial health. SoFi is a pioneer and leader in the student loan debt management industry, and their expertise in this space further enhances T. Rowe Price solutions.

A recent T. Rowe Price survey examined the effect that student loan debt can have on the financial behaviors and attitudes of 401(k) savers.

Of the respondents with student loan debt, 52% said they view the debt as a barrier to achieving other financial goals—and they are less likely to participate in their 401(k) plan compared with workers without student debt.1
