Investment Objective

Performance data quoted represents past performance and does not guarantee future results; current performance may be higher or lower than performance quoted. Investment returns and principal value will fluctuate and shares, when sold, may be worth more or less than their original cost. Market returns are based on the midpoint of the bid/ask spread as 4p.m. ET and do not represent returns an investor would receive if shares were traded at other times. Click the Performance tab for standardized performance information.
ETFs are bought and sold at market prices, not NAV. Investors generally incur the cost of the spread between the prices at which shares are bought and sold. Buying and selling shares may result in brokerage commissions which will reduce returns.
Investment Objective
The fund seeks dividend income and long-term capital growth.
Benefits
- We believe that a track record of dividend increases is an excellent indicator of financial health and growth prospects. Dividends also help reduce the fund’s volatility during periods of market turbulence.
Investor Profile
Appropriate for investors who seek increasing income over time, along with capital appreciation, and who can accept the price volatility inherent in common stock investing.
Risks
All investments are subject to market risk, including possible loss of principal. Dividend-paying stocks may lag shares of smaller, faster-growing companies. Also, stocks that appear temporarily out of favor may remain out of favor for a long time. The fund does not disclose portfolio holdings daily. The fund uses a Proxy Portfolio, which is a basket of securities that is designed to closely track the daily performance of the fund’s portfolio holdings. Due tothe use of a Proxy Portfolio, there is a risk that the fund’s shares may trade at a wider bid/ask spread than shares of ETFs that publish their portfolios on a daily basis. There is a risk that market prices will vary significantly from the underlying NAV per share of the fund. These price differences may be greater for this fund compared to ETFs that disclose holdings daily. It is possible that an active trading market for the shares will not be maintained, or that trading in the shares will be halted. The fund’s shares may have a limited number of active “Authorized Participants”.
