Christopher Faulkner-MacDonagh is the co-portfolio manager of the Real Assets Fund in the Multi-Asset Division. Chris also is cochair of the Investment Advisory Committee of the Real Assets Fund, a member of the Investment Advisory Committee for the Macro and Absolute Return Strategies, and a member of the Research Governance and Oversight Committee. Chris is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. 

Chris’s investment experience began in 1997, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2016, beginning as a strategist in the Asset Allocation department before taking on portfolio management responsibilities. Prior to this, Chris was employed by Standard Life Investments as the chair of the Tactical Asset Allocation Committees for the Multi-Asset Investment team and the Multi-Asset Investments Group. Before that, Chris worked at Ziff Brothers Investments, a New York-based hedge fund, as a macro investor in the Global Macro Group, with a focus on Japan, Australia, and emerging Asia. He also served for over a decade as an official at the International Monetary Fund and the U.S. Treasury Department in Washington, D.C.

Chris earned a B.S. in mathematics and a B.A. in political economy from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in economics from Yale University.
