Yanda Xin is an analyst on the Investment Data Insights team, providing crucial quantitative and data insights support to the analysts and portfolio managers in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa and Asia Pacific regions. He is a vice president of T. Rowe Price International Ltd.

Yanda’s investment experience began in 2019, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2024, beginning on the Investment Data Insights team. Prior to this, Yanda was employed by Orbis Investment Management as a quantitative analyst leading the Quant Screening and Alpha Insights function within the firm, specializing in developing multifactor models and applying data science techniques to support its flagship and regional strategies.

Yanda earned a doctor of philosophy from the University of Oxford, on the subject of quantitative magnetic resonance imaging analysis for the early detection of joint diseases, where his research contributed to predictive tools that advanced clinical insights into osteoarthritis. He also earned a master of science from Imperial College London, focusing on advanced thermal protection materials for reentry spacecraft.
