Ulla Pitha is head of ESG Product, Strategy, and Analytics in the Global Equity Division. In this position, she is responsible for driving the development and implementation of the firm’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) product plans as well as its overall ESG strategy. She is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc.

Ulla’s investment experience began in 2007, and she has been with T. Rowe Price since 2022, beginning in the Global Equity Division. Prior to joining T. Rowe Price, Ulla was employed by State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) where she was head of strategy and chief of staff of SSGA EMEA. At SSGA, Ulla spearheaded the firm’s ESG efforts in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Ulla also was a director of SSGA’s legal entities in the region and chaired the Professional Women’s Network in the region. Prior to joining SSGA in 2015, Ulla worked at BlackRock and Barclays Global Investors in various roles in New York and London.     

Ulla earned a B.A. in political economy from Williams College and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management. From 2020 to 2022, Ulla served on the City of London’s Socio-Economic Diversity Taskforce, which focused on boosting socioeconomic diversity at senior levels in UK financial and professional services.
