Ted Carter is the chief risk officer for T. Rowe Price. He is the chair of the Enterprise Risk Management Committee. He also is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. 

Ted has been with T. Rowe Price since 2017, beginning as the head of Business & Global Technology Risk and later serving as the head of Internal Audit. Prior to this, Ted was employed by PHH Corporation as the chief risk officer, as well as the head of Operational Risk Management at Fannie Mae. He began his risk management career with PNC Financial Global Fund Services. 

Ted earned a B.S. in communications from Howard University and an M.S. in information systems and financial management from the Carnegie Mellon School of Public Policy and Management. He serves as an adjunct faculty member for the Carnegie Mellon Heinz Chief Risk Officer Executive Education program.
