Sugashi Tanaka

Sugashi Tanaka is a senior relationship manager for the institutional business within Global Distribution in Japan.

Sugashi’s industry experience began in 2001, and she has been with T. Rowe Price since 2023, beginning in the Institutional Advisory department of T. Rowe Price Japan. Prior to this, Sugashi was employed by Lombard Odier, where she was in charge of client service. Sugashi also was employed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she was mainly responsible for fund accounting and fund financials for Japan mutual funds.

Sugashi earned a master’s degree in economics from Kyoto University and a B.A. in economics from Takasaki City University of Economics in Japan. Sugashi also has earned the Certified Member Analyst of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan designation.
