Savonne Ferguson is the chief compliance officer of T. Rowe Price Mutual Funds, T. Rowe Price Associates, and T. Rowe Price Investment Management. She is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc.  

Savonne’s investment experience began in 1998. She was with T. Rowe Price from 1998 to 1999 and 2014 to 2018 and returned in 2024 as the head of North America Compliance in the Legal, Compliance and Audit Department. Prior to this, she was employed by Neuberger Berman, where she was senior vice president, chief compliance officer, and associate general counsel (mutual funds) and was responsible for compliance oversight of the firm’s mutual funds complex and registered private equity funds complex, as well as the firm’s third-party subadvised mutual fund business. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman, Savonne was a vice president and senior legal counsel at T. Rowe Price overseeing the legal team focused primarily on legal, compliance, and regulatory issues related to the firm’s subadvised mutual fund clients. Prior to T. Rowe Price, she was a vice president and the director of Regulatory Fund Administration for PNC Capital Advisors, LLC, managing the team focused on fund governance/regulatory items related to the PNC family of funds. 

Savonne earned a bachelor of arts from Georgetown University, a master of arts from the University of Virginia, and a juris doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She has served as a Board member of the Samaritan Community, Monumental City Bar Foundation, and Maryland Volunteer Lawyer Services, all nonprofit organizations in Baltimore. Savonne is the immediate past president of the Harbor City (MD) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, cofounder of the Black Philanthropy Circle, a U.S.-Japan Foundation Leadership Program fellow, a Leadership Baltimore County alumna, and past president of the Alliance of Black Women Attorneys of Maryland, Inc. In 2011, she was named by the National Bar Association and IMPACT as one of their 2011 Nation’s Best Advocates: 40 Lawyers Under 40.
