Sarah Engle is the director of research for municipal and securitized credit in the Fixed Income Division. She is a member of the Investment Advisory Committees of the State Tax-Free Funds and the Tax-Free Income Fund. She also is a member of the Fixed Income Research Advisory Council, the Money Market Credit Policy Committee, and the Fixed Income Steering Committee. Sarah is a diversity, equity, and inclusion champion serving on the Women in Investments Steering Committee; she participates in Planned Leave’s Discretionary Compensation Workstream, the Stock Pitch Workshop for Women, and Launching Your Legacy; and she developed Fixed Income’s Undergraduate Internship Program focused on providing a foundation in credit research and building a pipeline of diverse talent for Investments.
Sarah’s investment experience began in 2008, and she has been with T. Rowe Price since 2012, beginning as a municipal credit analyst in the Fixed Income Division. In 2018, she became an associate analyst program manager, and in 2021 she assumed her current role. Prior to this, Sarah was employed by the Office of Management & Budget in Washington, D.C., as a program examiner with a focus on federal credit programs, including the Troubled Asset Relief Program. She also was an analyst in the Public Finance Group at Moody's Investors Service.
Sarah earned a B.A. in political science and communications from the University of California, San Diego, and an M.P.P. and M.U.P. from the University of Michigan. She also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
