Robert W. Smith is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc.

Mr. Smith has 28 years of investment experience, 23 of which have been with T. Rowe Price. He joined the firm in 1992 as an investment analyst specializing in defense, retail, and electrical equipment stocks. He also provided general coverage of European equities starting in 1995. From 1996 to 2015, Mr. Smith managed several key domestic and international portfolios for T. Rowe Price. Prior to T. Rowe Price, Mr. Smith spent six years at Massachusetts Financial Services as an analyst, where his coverage included beverage, tobacco, food, electrical equipment, and telecommunications companies.

Mr. Smith earned a B.S. in finance and economics from the University of Delaware and an M.B.A. in general management from the University of Virginia, Darden Graduate School of Business.
