Richard Burdiek is head of Technology for Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, Research, Portfolio Management, and Trading in the CTO Group. He is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc.  

Richard has been with T. Rowe Price since 2002, beginning as head of Investment Operations Technology, expanding his role to head of all Investments Global Business Solutions (GBS) Technology before transitioning to head of GBS Distribution & Marketing Solutions and Corporate functions. Prior to joining T. Rowe Price, Richard spent six years working in London and Luxembourg in the financial services custody, clearing, and settlement area as a senior project manager for Clearstream. Previously, he spent 12 years in various management positions associated with engineering and software development in the wireless and defense industries. 

Richard earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from Kansas State University and an M.S. in management information systems from Tarleton State University. He is a Series 99 registered representative. Richard is on the Board of Directors for T. Rowe Price Retirement Plan Services, Inc.
