Michael Kane is an associate portfolio manager for the US Municipal High Yield Strategies in the Fixed Income Division. He is an Investment Advisory Committee member of the State Tax-Free Funds, Inc., and an Investment Advisory Committee member of the Tax-Free High Yield and Intermediate Tax-Free High Yield Funds. Michael is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc.

Michael’s investment experience began in 2009, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2019, beginning in the Fixed Income Division. Prior to this, Michael was employed by GW&K Investment Management as a research analyst, by Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management as a research analyst, and by State Street Corporation as a securities lending operations manager.

Michael earned an M.B.A.; an M.S. in finance; and a B.S. in management, with a concentration in finance, from Boston College. He also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation.
