Michael "Jake" Jacobs is an investment analyst in the Global Equity Division, covering both large- and small-caps in the Japanese consumer and services sectors. He is an Investment Advisory Committee member for the Japan Fund and International Discovery Fund. He is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc.

Michael’s investment experience began in 1999, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2013. Prior to this, he was a sell-side analyst with Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in Tokyo, covering retail. He then worked for JP Morgan Asset Management in Tokyo as a consumer nondurables and services sector analyst.

Michael earned a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University and an A.B., with honors, in East Asian studies from Brown University.
