Joseph Hartford

Joe Hartford is the director of Investments Audits in the Internal Audit department within Legal, Compliance, and Audit. 

Joe’s audit experience began in 2003, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2019, beginning in the Internal Audit department. Prior to joining T. Rowe Price, Joe was employed by Invesco’s Internal Audit department. His focus was critical growth areas of Invesco, and he specialized in private equity, quantitative models, portfolio management, trading, Sarbanes-Oxley, and trust company activities. Before that, Joe was employed by CROWE LLP, specializing in risk management for financial firms, such as banks, insurance companies, asset managers, exchange-traded fund firms, and national laboratories.

Joe earned a bachelor’s degree in finance, with a minor in information technology, from Bentley University. He also has earned the Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Investments and Derivatives Auditor, and Certified Bank Auditor designations.
