John Leard is a municipal and money market trader and associate portfolio manager in the Fixed Income Division. He is a member of the Investment Advisory Committees for the Georgia Tax-Free Bond, Maryland Tax-Free Bond, and Maryland Short-Term Tax-Free Bond Funds. He also is a member of the Investment Advisory Committees for the Summit Municipal Funds, Inc., Tax-Free Short-Intermediate Fund, Intermediate Tax-Free High Yield Fund, and Intermediate Municipal Income ETF. John is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. 

John’s investment experience began in 2009 when he joined T. Rowe Price, beginning in Global Equity as a fund accounting associate. Prior to his current role, he was a trade support specialist in the Fixed Income Division. 

John earned a B.S. in finance from Pennsylvania State University. He also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation.
