David Beard-Sackett , CFA

Dave Beard-Sackett is the general manager of the Fixed Income Division. He partners closely with the head of the department and members of the Fixed Income Steering Committee and has responsibility for much of the day-to-day business management activity supporting the group. Dave is a member of the Counterparty Risk, Derivatives Risk, Disclosure Control, and Fixed Income ESG Committees. He is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Trust Company.

Dave has been with T. Rowe Price since 2009, beginning as the head of investment risk in the Enterprise Risk Group and then transitioning to the Fixed Income general manager position in 2016. Prior to T. Rowe Price, he was employed by Lehman Brothers for 10 years, culminating as the global head of emerging markets risk. From 1994 to 1998, he was employed as a credit risk manager for Swiss Bank (now UBS) and then ING Barings.

Dave earned a B.S. in political science and public policy management from the University of Akron and a master of international business studies degree, with honors, from the University of South Carolina. He also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
