Chuck Battenfeld

Chuck Battenfeld is Director, Mergers & Acquisitions, and a senior member of the Global Strategy team at T. Rowe Price. Chuck works closely with T. Rowe Price’s executive leadership, Management Committee, and Strategy Committee to assess potential acquisitions, strategic investments, and business partnerships.  His responsibilities include leading the evaluation and execution of M&A and business development opportunities.  Chuck is a Vice President of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc.

Chuck has been with T. Rowe Price since 2020. Prior to this, Chuck spent 13 years at Legg Mason Global Asset Management in mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance. Before Legg Mason, Chuck held positions at Constellation Energy Commodities Group in financial planning & analysis, Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown in private client manager research, and Deutsche Asset Management in fund administration.

Chuck earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in accounting and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance from Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business and Management.
