Chenyu Yao is an associate analyst in the Global Equity Division.

Chenyu's investment experience began in 2015, and she has been with T. Rowe Price since 2019, beginning in the International Equity Division. Prior to this, Chenyu was employed by Nezu Asia Capital in Tokyo as a research analyst, where she researched internet and gaming companies. Before Nezu, she was a research associate covering the electronic components and auto parts sectors at Macquarie Securities Tokyo.

Chenyu earned a B.A. in international economics and politics from Peking University, a B.A. in international liberal studies from Waseda University, and an M.A. in advanced social and international studies from Tokyo University. Chenyu also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation.
