Chen Shao is a Baltimore-based tax-free money market trader in Global Trading. He co-manages the tax-exempt money market funds portfolio and is a member of the Investment Advisory Committees for the Tax-Free Money Fund, State Tax-Free Funds, US Ultra Short-Term Bond Strategy, and Reserve Investment Funds. He also is a member of the Investment Advisory Committees for the Government Money Fund, Fixed Income Series, Summit Funds, and U.S. Treasury Funds. Chen is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc.

Chen’s investment experience began in 2007, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2005, beginning in Investment Operations. After that, he became a trading assistant in the Fixed Income Division, where he supported both the municipal and taxable money market desks, before assuming his current role.

Chen earned a B.S. in finance from the University of Connecticut and an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland University College.
