Chris Newman is the head of the Americas division of T. Rowe Price, the organization responsible for the firm's institutional business in the U.S. and the institutional and intermediary business in Canada. In this role, he leads the team responsible for new business development and for providing world-class service to some of the firm's largest and most sophisticated clients. He is a member of the Global Distribution Executive Committee and chair of the Canada Board of Directors. Chris is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., and a vice president and director of T. Rowe Price Investment Services, Inc.

Chris has been with T. Rowe Price since 1989. Prior to his current position, Chris was the head of Institutional Client Service in the Americas division, and before that, he was a U.S. institutional business development executive. Prior to joining the Americas division in 2001, he was a regional sales director in Retirement Plan Services, the firm's defined contribution plan subsidiary.

Chris earned a B.A. in business administration and economics from McDaniel College and an M.B.A. in finance from Loyola University Maryland. He also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Chris is a Series 3, 6, 7, 24, 63, and 65 registered representative.
