Interning at T. Rowe Price: Experience and Opportunity

Gabe Ambulos:

I was honestly expecting it to be a little bit like the coffee-fetcher internship, but it's been the complete opposite of that.

Jason Whiting:

My experience is similar to maybe a full-time role, where you're going to have challenging responsibilities that are really important.

Maddie Demming:

You actually get to have your own project that you present—all your findings—to different higher-up people and your mentors, managers, which I think is really valuable, and you learn so much from doing your own project.

Gabe Ambulos:

My days are either filled with informational meetings, lectures from traders, portfolio managers, and also working on projects that have a genuine impact on the company.

Nigel Britto:

Coming into T. Rowe Price, I was really hoping to get a holistic experience—so understanding that, hey, this company has a great culture, this company has a great work-life balance, and the work we do is important. Those are the kinds of things that I really was hoping to learn and get out of this specific internship.

Jonah Bennet:

I think the culture at T. Rowe Price is completely based around collaboration and growing as an individual, but also growing within a team.

Maddie Demming:

Everyone is so willing at T. Rowe to help out, answer your questions, and encourage you to just be your best and perform as well as you can possibly perform.

Nigel Britto:

They're going to value my opinion. They're going to give me meaningful work, and it's going to be a great environment.

Gabe Ambulos:

I've gotten the perfect balance between project work and the classroom experience, which has just given me so much more knowledge.

Jason Whiting:

I would say, if you're looking for a really practical work experience, but one where you're really supported and given chances to understand and explore different areas, I would say T. Rowe Price's internship program is really a great place to do so.
