John Wakeman is an associate portfolio manager for the Mid-Cap Growth Equity Strategy at T. Rowe Price Investment Management. He is the executive vice president and member of the Mid-Cap Growth Investment Advisory Committee and a member of the Institutional Mid-Cap Equity Growth Investment Advisory Committee. He is a member of the Research Governance Oversight Committee. John also is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc.

John's investment experience began in 1987, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 1989, beginning in the T. Rowe Price Associates U.S. Equity Division.

John earned a B.A. in economics, a B.B.A. in finance, and an M.S. in finance from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
