Christopher Alderson is the head of International Equity and co-head of Global Equity. Chris is a member of the Management Committee and the chairman of the International Equity Steering Committee. He also is a member of the Investment Advisory Committees of the Emerging Markets Equity, Emerging Europe Equity, and Middle East & Africa Equity Strategies. Chris is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and director of T. Rowe Price International Ltd.

Chris’s investment experience began in 1985, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 1988, beginning in the joint venture Rowe Price-Fleming International. He was a lead manager for the Emerging Markets Equity Strategy before assuming his current role. Prior to this, Chris was employed by Robert Fleming and Co. Ltd in the area of UK equity analysis. Chris also was a portfolio manager for Asia ex-Japan portfolios in Hong Kong and co-manager of the firm's Japanese equity products in Tokyo. 

Chris earned an M.A. (honors) in economics from the University of Edinburgh.
