Richard Coghlan is a global solutions portfolio manager within the Multi-Asset Division. He is co-president and a member of the Investment Advisory Committee of the Real Assets Fund. He also is a member of the Multi-Asset Steering Committee. Richard is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc.

Richard’s investment experience began in 1997, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2017, beginning in the Multi-Asset Division. Prior to this, Richard was employed by Schroder Investment Management as a fund manager, where he co-managed more than $8 billion in multi-asset solutions for variable annuity and defined benefit clients. Richard also served as head of Multi-Asset Asia at Schroders, where he developed and managed a highly successful multi-asset income product and helped grow assets under management in the region from $4 billion to $18 billion over a nine-year period. Richard has worked in the Philippines, South Korea, Hong Kong, the United States, and, most recently, Japan prior to relocating to Australia. He is experienced in building and managing successful investment solutions for non-U.S. investors.

Richard earned a B.S. in geology from Duke University, a Ph.D. in geochemistry from Brown University, and an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago.
