Ziad Bakri is the portfolio manager for the Health Sciences Equity Strategy in the U.S. Equity Division. He is chairman of the Investment Advisory Committee of the Health Sciences Fund. Ziad also is a vice president and an Investment Advisory Committee member of the US Large-Cap Core Growth Equity, US Large-Cap Equity Income, US Global Growth Equity, US Small-Cap Growth Equity, and All-Cap Opportunities Equity Strategies. Ziad is a vice president of the T. Rowe Price Tax-Efficient Funds, Inc., and T. Rowe Price International Funds, Inc. He is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc.

Ziad's investment experience began in 2005, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2011, beginning in the U.S. Equity Division. Prior to this, Ziad was employed by Cowen and Company as a vice president in equity research, where he covered biotechnology companies. Ziad also was employed by Merrill Lynch in London as a health care investment banking analyst.

Ziad earned a B.S., with first-class honors, from the University of Nottingham and bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery degrees from the University of Nottingham, Medical School. He also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation. Ziad is a medical doctor and was an emergency medicine resident at the Royal London Hospital.
