Sal Rais is an investment analyst covering biotech companies and the team lead in the health care sector at T. Rowe Price Investment Management (TRPIM). He is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc.

Sal's investment experience began in 2014, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2021, beginning in the U.S. Equity Division. Prior to this, Sal was employed by Rock Springs Capital L.P., focusing on small biotech companies.

Sal earned a doctor of medicine degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and an M.B.A., with a concentration in finance, from the University of Virginia, Darden Graduate School of Business Administration. He also earned a B.S., with concentrations in neuroscience and economics, from the College of William & Mary.
