Matt Mahon is the portfolio manager of the US Smaller Companies Equity Strategy at T. Rowe Price Investment Management. He is a member of the Small-Cap Stock, Mid-Cap Growth, Institutional Small-Cap Stock, and Institutional Mid-Cap Equity Growth Investment Advisory Committees. Matt is also a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc.

Matt's investment experience began in 2008, and he has been with T. Rowe Price  since 2016, beginning in the T. Rowe Price Associates U.S. Equity Division. Prior to this, Matt was employed by Water Street Capital, Inc., a long/short equity hedge fund seeded by Tiger Management, for four years as an investment analyst. Prior to Water Street, Matt was employed by Morgan Creek Capital Management, LLC, as an analyst.

Matt earned an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School, where he received the Henry Ford II Fellowship as first-year co-valedictorian and was a Palmer Scholar. He also earned a B.S., summa cum laude, in finance from Wake Forest University, where he received the Wall Street Journal Achievement Award and the Wayne Calloway Award.
