Shao Shuai

Shuai Shao is Managing Director, Head of China Business, based in Hong Kong.

Shuai’s financial experience began in 2011 and she has been with T. Rowe Price since 2026. Prior to this, Shuai was employed by Nomura Asset Management (NAM) as the Head of Greater China Business Development, covering Greater China institutions and intermediary clients. Also, Shuai was employed by DWS Group as the Head of Client Coverage for China and by Amundi as the Executive Director for China and North Asia Institutional Business. She began her career at NAM in Tokyo as a quantitative analyst and commercial paper trader.

Shuai earned a Master of Risk Management and Financial Engineering from Imperial College London, a Master of Finance and Commodities from the University of London, and a bachelor's degree in economics from East China Normal University. She is fluent in Mandarin, English, Shanghainese, Japanese, and Cantonese.
