Matt Cook is an equity trader at T. Rowe Price Associates. He primarily trades for small- and mid-cap portfolios, energy and materials sectors, and international trading. Matt is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc.

Matt’s investment experience began in 2011 when he worked at FINRA, focusing on operations within the TRACE group. He left in 2014 to start at T. Rowe Price, working in Investment Compliance where he focused on equities. In 2017, he joined the Portfolio Modeling Group, working closely with portfolio managers to best leverage their time in managing client restrictions, cash flows, and more under strategies across all market caps. In 2019, he became an equity trader focusing on systematic trading and market structure. In 2022, his focus shifted to high-touch and international trading.

Matt earned a B.S. in finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and an M.B.A., with a concentration in finance, from Mount St. Mary’s University. He also has earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation. He is treasurer of the Mid-Atlantic Security Traders Association.
