David Kroger

David Kroger is an investment research analyst, Digital Assets, in the Trading Solutions department. He joined TRP Digital Asset Strategy in March of  2025 and leads the team in developing proprietary investment models and conducting in-depth written research on digital assets and blockchain protocols. This new role brings additional Digital Assets subject matter expertise to the firm.

David’s investment experience began in 2016, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since this year, beginning in TRP Digital Asset Strategy. Prior to this, David led institutional research at TD Cowen and StoneX, providing institutional-grade research reports and educating clients about numerous blockchain protocols. He also was an equity research data scientist at Piper Sandler, where he supported analysts in leveraging alternative data, and began his career in venture capital as an analyst focused on innovative technology, particularly A.I. and robotics.

David earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Concordia University. He also earned a master’s degree in Data Science with a specialization in A.I. from Northwestern University.
