Shaoyu Guo is an emerging market sovereign analyst in the Fixed Income Division. He is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Hong Kong Limited.

Shaoyu’s investment experience began in 2016, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2020, beginning in the Fixed Income Division. Prior to this, he was employed by J.P. Morgan as an economist covering emerging Asia, with a focus on Thailand and China. Before that, Shaoyu was employed by the International Monetary Fund as a research assistant in the areas of central bank liquidity management and financial stability.

Shaoyu earned a B.A. in international security studies from Ohio State University and an M.A. in international economics from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies.
